Parents with young children know how often there is time for themselves. For Brittany and Tyler Davis – the parents of a 20-month-old son – these occur only three times a year: the birthday of Brittany, Tyler's birthday and their jubilee.
This year on the birthday of Brittany, February 24, she and her husband, Tyler, 29, planned a night in a hotel near the center of Easton, an indoor and outdoor shopping complex in Columbus, Ohio. They live about 90 minutes southwest in Wilmington, Ohio, and the trip was first deployed in the capital of Brittany.
"On February 23rd, both my husband and our son drove to my family and threw our son with them," Brittany said Dateline. "Then we went on to work at the Hilton Hotel, which is located right in front of the mall, and checked it maybe around 5:00 pm"
Brittany said a close friend who lives in Columbus arrived at the hotel to talk with them. A few hours, around 20:30, three of them left the hotel to walk around the mall.
"We got some lunch and went out to the evening," Brittany said. "We walked around the city center to get ground swimming, because we were going to go shopping next day and planned a steam massage."
Brittany said Dateline was nothing ordinary that evening. But by the time they walked around a huge shopping mall, which included at least 235 stores, 40 restaurants and 750 residences, on its website, it was around 3:00 and all were exhausted. They turned Uber back to the hotel. Brittany said that when the night shift began.
"When we left Uber, Tyler seemed so confused and frustrated," Britney said Dateline. "He said he was going to go for a walk."
Brittany said that she suggested leaving with him, but her phone was dying to have their friend go with Tyler, and Brittany went to the hotel to charge her phone. . She returned to the street in a couple of minutes, she said, but did not find her husband or her friend.
"I was embarrassed, like," What's going on? ", – she said. "Then Tyler called me around 3:30 and said that he would come back [to the hotel].
A few minutes later a friend of the couple returned to the hotel. Tyler was not with him.
He said that Tyler will come back again. But I constantly tried to call Tyler, and he would not answer, "Brittany said. Brittany added that their friend saw Tyler on a walk, but it was unclear to her why, or at what point, they had parted. About 4:10am, about an hour after Tyler left for a walk, a phone call from Brittany was ringing. It was Tyler.
He called and said: "I see a hotel. I'm going through the forest. I will be here. ", Said Brittany. – He sounded so confused. And he is not at all a man who deals with nature. There may be two trees next to each other, and it will call it "forest."
A few seconds later, the phone of Brittany was ringing again. It was Tyler.
"I answered this and the line was opened for four seconds. Then the phone hung up, "Brittany said. – I called him and his phone was turned off. And since then it has been disconnected. "
Brittany told Dateline that at this stage it is approaching 4:30. Their friend, who says that Brittany lives in just 10 minutes from the hotel, decided to go home. Brittany told Dateline that she "did not feel well" about her husband's safety and began calling on friends to ask for advice on what to do. According to Brittany, her friends assured her that there was nothing, and Tyler would probably be going through the door at any moment. But when the sun began to rise, Brittany began to worry more.
"I called an old neighbor who lives in Columbus. At 8:00 AM, he came and we drove around Easton. Maybe Tyler slept on the bench? We did not know what happened, Brittany said.
Brittany said that she then called her parents, Tyler's parents, to tell them what was going on. Around 10:30, he called the Columbus Police Department to report a missing man.
"After I turned to the police, my father-in-law came," Brittany said. – He independently searched every territory on foot. He stayed there until he became dark.
Brittany went to his family to take care of her and Tyler's son. She says she returned to the city center of Easton in the evening to continue her husband's search. The authorities also searched, she said. But nobody has found any trace of the missing father. The Columbian Police Department did not respond to the request by Dieter for comments on the evening of Monday, but Brittany said that the authorities had conducted several searches and are now screening security personnel.
"They have a lot of missing people, but I only have one person," Brittany said. "There are many different things that could happen, but there is nothing that guides us. He will not just go. "
Tyler Davis describes that he is tall 5-10 inches and weighs 170 pounds. with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in a blue-green flannel shirt with blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes.
