Tracy Morgan defends Donald Trump, praises police and health workers, and jokes that his wife is three times pregnant during quarantine in an interview TODAY.
Tracy Morgan and his wife Megan Wolver are filing for divorce after nearly five years of marriage.
“This is a difficult time for everyone involved, so I ask you to respect our privacy,” Morgan said in a statement to the Associated Press.
The United States today addressed Morgan’s representatives for further comment.
Morgan, 51, married Wolverine, 33, in August 2015, a year after Morgan was critically injured in a highway crash that hit a Wal-Mart truck in the back of a limousine Morgan was driving. One man died in a crash that left a former 30 Rock star and two friends seriously injured. As a result of his injuries, Morgan was forced to learn to walk again.
“After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful that I finally married the love of my life,” Wolverver told People in 2015. Morgan told the magazine that his wedding to Wollover motivated his recovery.
“I don’t want my wife walking down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair,” he said. “That’s why I had a hard time going with therapy.”

Maven Sona, the couple’s only child together, attended the ceremony. She is now seven.
Morgan also shares with three adult sons – Tracy Morgan Jr., 28, Malcolm Morgan, 32, and 34-year-old Gitrid Morgan – from a previous marriage to Sabina Morgan.
