For Terra Pinkard, the nightmare began with an ominous text from her husband: "I love you, I was shot at work."
Pinakar soon finds out that her husband, Josh Pinkard, was among the women. people killed when an employee who was stopped by Henry Pratt opened fire. Pinkard, 37, was in charge of a plant where valves for water were produced.
In a Facebook post Sunday published, Terra Pinkard said that she had "read it several times so she hit me that it was real."
Then, she wrote, she started calling him on the phone. She copied and FaceTimed to him – and did not receive an answer. She came to someone at the factory, who told her that she was "barred in her room with the police everywhere."
"Of course, my heart fell," wrote Pinhart. She then said she had loaded three spouses into her car and went to the factory, but was stopped by an officer located on one of the closed streets, which could not provide any information.
Then she went to two local hospitals. but still could not get any news about her husband.
"While waiting (in the second hospital) news, chaplains, my pastor, neighbors, his colleagues, came to sit with me and hold me by the hand," she wrote. A few hours later the officer informed her of the location of the families of the victims. "I do not know how my body drove there, but it was," wrote Pinhart.
There another officer read a list of deaths; He was on her husband.
"I immediately went and went to get my children," she wrote. The non-state members were still on flights to the Chicago area – Josh Pinkard came from a small town of Holly Pond, Ala.

Josh Pinkard has been working with Mueller Water Products, the parent company of Pratt, for at least a decade and began working at Aurora last April, according to his LinkedIn page. Beloved say he was committed to his wife and children and was a fan of sports teams from the State University of Mississippi, where he received a bachelor's degree.

The authorities identified other members of Henry Pratt who were killed when the arrows of Gary Martin opened fire like Clayton Parkes, 32, Elgin; Trevor Venus, 21, Sheridan, Elijah; Russell Bayer, 47th Anniversary of Yorkville; and Vicente Juarez, 54, from Oswego. Uener was a student at the University of Northern Illinois, who began an internship with Henry Pratt on the firing day
