Often, rumors that have leaked heavily to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will finally become official during the company’s online unpacked event on August 5. While we wait for this, here you will find a bunch of oven-dried press renders showing it in all its glory in two colors – Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black.
As has been rumored many times, the internal screen now has a selfie camera with perforation, and, therefore, no more, the awkward side. The outer screen is also significantly improved, now it extends to the edges and does not have ridiculously huge top and bottom panels, as in the original fold. This one also gets a hole-punching selfie camera.
The design of the rear camera island largely borrows from what we saw in the leak of Galaxy Note20 press renders, which should also have been announced at the same event. The color Mystic Bronze is also shared.
According to previously outstanding specifications, the external display will be 6.23 “, while the internal has grown to 7.7”, both Super AMOLED, of course. The internal screen will also have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The triple camera on the back should contain 12 MP + 64 MP + 12 MP sensors, while the internal selfie camera – 10 MP. The memory capacity will be 512 GB, and built-in support for 5G. The total capacity of the battery is 4,356 mAh, and it will support wireless charging of 15 watts.
Price rumors have been widespread, with some saying that the Z Fold 2 5G will be cheaper than its predecessor, and others – for $ 980, which is almost the same as the first generation product. We’ll find out in a few short days, so stay tuned.
