On August 5, Samsung is preparing to unpack a set of new consumer technologies at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event. Among the five devices that will be launched at the event is the new generation of Samsung’s first assembled device. It seems to be called Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, instead of just “Galaxy Fold 2”, there is a lot of excitement around this device, because it means a step to improve this series. Now Samsung had some difficult features: first Galaxy Fold, then the “fixed” version, then Galaxy Z Flip and the newer Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Now the leaked photo gives us an early look at the massive front of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
This soaked photo of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 shows the phone’s internal display – the one that actually folds at the bottom of its center axis.
Although this photo can be looked at briefly, apart from the new name of the boot loader screen, not much, you can see the display with punching holes, if you look closely. Here is an edited photo that better encourages punching holes:
As you can see now, the internal display in the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will have a front camera with one hole, focused on the right half of the screen. The protective lip around the device no longer has an extension to pierce the hole. This is a big change from the front cameras present on the first generation devices, which had a noticeably unique bran setting, as shown below:
Previous reports have suggested placing a camera with a low display on the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but this is no longer the case. In addition, the new device is expected to have a 7.7 ″ internal display, a larger external display, plenty of RAM and memory, the latest processors, 5G capabilities and will continue to exclude the S Pen. We need to know more in the coming days.
