The Samsung Galaxy F Flip 5G, a 5G version of the folded phone released earlier this year, is now available for pre-order as an unlocked device on Samsung.com. Prices start at $ 1,499.99. US, a bonus of $ 70 for a previous version of LTE. Along with the 5G connection, this price gets a slightly updated Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. Otherwise, the two phones are almost identical.
Samsung is expected to announce a number of new devices on its Galaxy Note 20 Unpacked on August 5, including the new Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Z Fold is a tablet-sized device that is the size of a smartphone, while the Z Flip is a more traditional flip -a phone that folds in half to become more compact. Z Fold 2 will also reportedly support 5G. We initially expected the Z Flip 5G to perform on Unpacked before Samsung announced it earlier this month.
If you don’t want to wait, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G can now order a pre-bronze or gray. Samsung’s website says that the phone should start shipping by August 7, after which it says that the phone will be available from carriers, and unlocked versions of Samsung on the Internet from AT&T, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Amazon and Samsung’s own website with regular trade -discounts. Just don’t blame us if you start feeling rejected by customers when Samsung announces its new devices next week.
