Just last month, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura said there were currently “no specific plans” to transfer more games in this series to the Nintendo Switch after its release. Kingdom Hearts: A melody of memory.
At the time, however, he recalled how he still considered the switch an attractive device, and expressed how this was possible. another its a game to make the leap to Nintendo’s hybrid platform.
Now, after a recent interview with Nintendo Dream, it is believed that Nomura may be teasing something else for Switch. Here is exactly what he said at the end of the interview, after an exchange with Masanobu Suzui from Indiezero (courtesy of Oni_Dino):
Suzui: This was a rare opportunity for you to appear in an article about Nintendo Dream called Kingdom Hearts, in which you participated.
Number: I am sure that I will return to the not too distant future.
Earlier, Nomura said that Square Enix was considering moving the Kingdom Hearts to a switch, but found it “technologically complex.”; So if there is something else on the way, it may not necessarily be related to this series.
