MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Two people, including a seven-year-old child, were wounded during a Saturday shooting in downtown Downtown after the Mardi Gras parade
Police arrested 17-year-old Isaiah Carl. He is accused of two assaults, as well as several other allegations.
When Carl was taken to the underground subway, the FOX10 News Reporter asked him if he wanted to say something, he shook his head.
Witnesses tell FOX10 News that the shots were released around 9pm. near Government Street and Dearborn Street.
Mobile fire rescue personnel reported that he was treated with two gunshot wounds. Police said a seven-year-old girl was wounded in the leg. The child was taken to the University Hospital with injuries not threatened by life.
The second victim is a 17-year-old man. Mobile Fire-Rescue said that the teen's hand was smeared with a bullet and he was treated at the scene.
The video sent to FOX10 News shows the moments when they were shot. The video shows several people eating outdoors in the restaurant and jumping to the ground when shooting a few shots.
