In the first phase, there are 12 concepts, including a smart suit with robotics and self-repairing skin. There is also an idea for a microprobe inspired by spiders that could help us explore planetary atmospheres. Other concepts include the moon ice outpost (pictured above), an inflatable airplane designed to study the atmosphere of Venus and nuclear power plants that could make it possible to fly through the water courses on the surface of Europe, one of the months of Jupiter.
NASA also chose six Phase II concepts, which are theoretically somewhat closer to realization. These include flexible telescopes that can be deployed in a cylindrical roll and installed in a 3D printed structure when it is in space. There is also a study for analyzing material shields that could bring us closer to the sun than ever before.
