Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC and will be released on November 5, 2019. Rumors about the PC version have been floating around so far, but executives at Rockstar and parent company Take-Two have discussed it meticulously. While this will not be exclusive to the launcher, it is where you will find the most reliable array of pre-order bonuses. Rockstar also confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Google Stadia as a launch game in November.

Path to redemption of Red Dead 2 on PC
In June 2019, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnik declared that launching Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC would be a "build". He added: "There is no downside to playing the game on PC."
The first Red Dead Redemption was not released for PC, and it was a bit of a painful place for Rockstar Games fans on the platform. However, given the huge success of Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as the fact that it has an advanced multiplayer mode in Red Dead Online, the release of PC to continue felt inevitable.
Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar's previous release, was also available on PC long after the console was initially launched. Its accompanying multiplayer game, GTA Online, has been extremely lucrative, with Rockstar and Take-Two no doubt hoping that Red Dead Online takes similar action.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has delivered over 24 million copies, making it one of the most commercially successful games in history. Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are also two of the best-selling PS4 games of this generation, NPD reports. A review of Red Dead Redemption 2 GameSpot described it as a "wonderful prequel" with an "emotional, impressive thought story".
