It is known that Google had only one back camera on each large and small Pixel model. The company has embraced the use of AI and machine learning to create photos that compete with phones with two rearview cameras, such as the iPhone XS or three rear-facing cameras, such as the Huawei P20 Pro. The second camera can be used for something other than a photo, such as AR.
Pictures of unopened 4 XL also show an oval display with an aperture for two cameras, like the new Galaxy S10 Plus. Pixel 3 is known to lack teeth, and the Pixel 3 XL is one of the largest found on any phone.
It is interesting that the picture does not show a fingerprint reader on the back. This omission may indicate that the next Pixel phone will display a screen fingerprint reader, such as OnePlus 6T and Galaxy S10.
Google did not immediately respond to a comment request.
