Patrick Mohames’ chief defender has found a way to spend some money on his way.
Earlier this month, Mohammed signed an extension until 2031 that could pay him up to $ 503 million, and he is using part of that cash to become the owner of a professional team in another sport close to his family’s heart. The Kansas City Royals announced on Tuesday that Mohames has become part owner of the team.
“I am honored to be a partial owner of the Kansas City Royals,” Magomes said in a statement. “I love this city and the people of this big town. This opportunity allows me to deepen my roots in this community, and that is something I am very happy to do. ”
Mohames’ father Pat spent 11 years as a pitcher in the major leagues, but never had any strength with the Kings.
