This is one way to disperse the vote.
According to celebrity scientist Neil deGrass Tyson, an asteroid the diameter of a refrigerator could hit Earth the day before the November election, but it is not large enough to cause serious damage.
A famous astrophysicist said that a cosmic rock known as 2018VP1 is rushing to Earth at a speed of 25,000 miles per hour and could capture the planet on November 2.
“It could worsen the Earth on November 2, the day before the presidential election,” he wrote on Instagram.
But he added that the flying object could not lose sleep because “it is not big enough to cause harm.”;
“So, if the world ends in 2020, it will not be the fault of the universe,” he said.
Earlier, NASA identified an asteroid rocketing to Earth, but determined that its chances of actually hitting less than 1 percent.
“At the moment, it has a 0.41% chance of getting into the atmosphere of our planet, but if it did, it would fall apart due to its extremely small size,” the space agency said.
