From the very first ceremony in 1929, when the winner and future Nazi Emile Jannings appeared at the Roosevelt Hotel in a small black dress designed by the future Nazi Coco Chanel, the Academy Awards have always been an ideal place to see appropriate future Oid, fascism, fascist fashion and fashionable fascism. This year was no exception, as Hollywood's brightest stars were filled with the hottest red carpets in the world, every bright, hot actor or hot bright actress has an individual sequin in a beautiful, brilliant outfit that is almost certainly going to be nazi at the right circumstances. But this year, the most courageous and brightest choices were not on the red carpet: they were on stage where there was no carpet
of any color. Melissa McCarthy and Brian Tayri Henry presented the Oscar Award for the best costume suit wearing clothes that they can predict with confidence to determine the season, year and future of the century. Soak in every detail:
No McCarthy nor Henry will show who they wear, but it's obvious that this is either a job of one of the new minimalist homes in California or the designer who thoroughly studied them. The clean, precise lines of McCarthy's dress resemble the spring collection of the Mijeong Park, and bold colors and vintage fabrics in Henry's shawl and dress can only come from a limited run of Philip Ayler. The theme here is unity: each individual garment joins other parts of the ensemble to create a single effect, like the individual robots-lions, which form a larger, more powerful work on Voltron to fight Emperor Zarkon. The result is so harmonious that it is difficult to pick up individual fragments, so you will be forgiven that they have missed the subtle hints of Oscar nominees sewn in the fabric of clothes, like the hidden notes of Reynolds Woodcock. To select just one example, it's impossible to imagine Melissa McCarthy's dress without a white cowboy hat, but only true movie lovers will recognize her as the very white hat bonnet seen in the finale of the Best Animated Short 1951
Gerald McBoing-Boing . In addition to a long overdue performance to Hubleys, other hints relate to films that were shown this year. How many of these iconic parts of the cinematic fashion have you noticed?
