Megan Tay Stallion said Monday that she had gunshot wounds to both feet, and she told new details about the shooting earlier this month, which she called “the worst experience of my life” in an emotional video.
“I was shot in both feet, and I had to undergo surgery to … take out the bullets, and it was very scary,” said the 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, she wiped away tears in Instagram Live Video.
She did not name the person who shot her, as she also refused to do so when she first said publicly that she was shot on Instagram on July 15.
MEGAN THE STALION finds that she is “suffering from a weapon,”; NOTES NOT TO JOIN:
Rapper Tori Lanez, who was with Megan, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon on the morning of the July 12 incident in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles police said, and was released later that day after bail was released. Megan and Lanege were in the car together after leaving the party.
The 27-year-old Canadian rapper and singer Lanez, whose legal name is Deister Peterson, has not been charged with filming. His representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
Police said only that officers responded to reports of the shooting and that the woman was being treated for foot injuries. They say they are aware of Megan’s subsequent remarks about her gunshot wounds, and say detectives are investigating.
In a video Monday, she said she was lucky that the bullets did not hit any bones or tendons, and thanked her late parents and grandmother. She expects to fully recover.

“I know my mom and dad, my grandmother had to look for me for the reason where the bullets hit, she missed everything,” she said.
She ridiculed those who she said had spread misinformation about the shooting, discredited it or mocked it.
“You had nothing to start walking around and creating fake stories about,” the artist said. “I didn’t put anyone in my arms. I didn’t deserve to be fired.”
