LAKEWOOD, Wash. – A suspicion of a neuroviral outbreak closed the restaurant in Lakewood.
The Tacoma Pearce Department of Public Health says the restaurant will be closed at least until Thursday afternoon. During this time, the staff will be clean at the restaurant, and health workers will decide when it's safe to restore.
Norovirus is very contagious. It can cause diarrhea and vomiting, often at the same time, according to officials from the Health Department. Symptoms usually last a day or two.
