Jet Airways, the second-largest airline in India after Indigo, recently said it chose a temporary cessation of operations after unsuccessful emergency funds.
On April 17, Jet Airways issued a statement on its website. A news detailing their inability to provide funds from the State Bank of India (SBI). Subsequently, the airline stopped operations in what was said as a temporary move, since they could not pay for fuel and critical services.
Despite the fact that they could not raise funds for flight operations, Jet Airways emphasized that they were analyzing and looking for each option before coming to the conclusion which of them was the most difficult for passengers and employees.
In response to the situation, the SBI and lenders after efforts to find new shareholders for the airline. It will be completed on May 1
