In Masahiro Sakurai’s new image post, fans wonder what the next Super Smash Bros. might be like. Ultimate DLC or when it comes out

Is the Internet reading too much about things again? It is possible, but there are some wrinkles

No creator of fighting games likes to tease his fans more than Ed Boone of Mortal Kombat, but Masahiro Sakurai and Nintendo are known from time to time to give little clues as to what will be next to Super Smash Bros. games.

Although Steve Minecraft hasn̵

7;t been in the hands of Smash Ultimate players for a week, online scammers are working hard to dig into one of Sakurai’s latest posts, which seems to stand out from the rest, which may be more than the eye can see.

A few days ago, director Smash shared what seemed to be one of his daily screenshots for developers, giving fans a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at the development version of Smash Ultimate, but many believe it has so much more.

In the image in question, two elements of the timer next to the purple distorted effect behind them, although exactly what is on the watch, aroused the interest of all.

Both timers display different times when converted to a standard clock, the left shows 12:14 and the right sets to 10:30.

Obviously, this has led some fans to believe that these are the dates / times when we can see the next DLC revealed for Ultimate, if we convert it to December 14 and October 30.

This particular theory doesn’t seem to contain much water, however, given that we’ve already received a smash announcement about Steve this month, it’s highly unlikely they’ll show another one so soon. There was a three-month break between Ming Ming and Steve.

Another view of what times may mean also has Crash Bandicoot fans hoping for its inclusion, and the facts are much stronger than any other.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s Time Time recently released the first brand new title in a series in more than a decade earlier this month, which certainly focuses on time and the multiverse, although there is one piece that caught the attention of players.

Dr. Nefarius Tropi is back as one of the antagonists of Crash 4 along with a new version of himself.

The most interesting thing is that both doctors have watches on their heads, which seem to show the same times as Sakurai’s timers, as indicated by VARMANi and others.

It could be just a nod that Sakurai recently played in Crash 4, or it could just be a coincidence, depending on how you want to look at it.

Crash Bandicut is one of the most sought-after fighters now joining the Smash roster, especially after his return to the spotlight with the N-Sane Trilogy, so it certainly won’t be out of the box if it turns out to be true.

Fans of the Chrono Trigger also raise their eyebrows to the picture, given the heavy focus of the game on time travel, and the fact that the background looks similar to the effect used to move forward or backward on the timeline, although this is the usual effect used for timers.

Prior to the opening of the Ticket earlier this year, Nintendo shared an image of Sakurai holding three fingers in an atypical position, which also led to speculation, trying to figure out what the numbers might mean.

The samurai eventually explained his numbers during the ticket breakdown, where he found that the director was counting using the binary method, and everyone thought the top three was actually 17 for the number of titles in the Fire Emblem franchise.

If Nintendo continues the release schedule for Fighter Pass Vol. 2, what they did for Min Min and Steve, we can see the next character only in January 2021, four more are scheduled for the season.

After reviewing the evidence for yourself, let us know if you think this is really a coded clue, or if Sakurai was just trying to show something like how Timer’s hands are actually driving change in Ultimate.
