While Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Patrick Stewart (Professor X) have both retired from the Marvel character roles, they played their characters long enough to earn a place in Guinness World Records for having the longest career as a live action marvel superheroes.

Guinness World Records has announced the new record and presented Jackman and Stewart with awards for their time as superhero characters on The Morning show.
