Community manager John Hunishek explained that “two key areas are being discussed around the community – general art style and visual fidelity.”
“Based on our Halo 4, Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 training ̵1; along with strong community feedback – we decided to move on to the hereditary aesthetics that defined the original trilogy. With Halo Infinite, we return to the more ‘classic’ style of art that was key. the message, which returns to the very first, reveals that it has received enthusiastic and positive responses. This means a brighter palette, “cleaner” models and items with less “noise”, although this does not mean less detail. While we may not appreciate everyone’s personal preferences, we stand for this decision and are pleased to see that it resonates with so many fans around the world. “
“The second topic under discussion is visual fidelity. Negative feedback in this area includes comments around characters and objects that look flat, simplistic and plastic, lighting dim and flat, and the object popping up. We read your comments, We saw homework examples of retouched content, and yes, we’ve heard Digital Foundry ratings. We largely agree here – we have work to do to address some of these areas and improve the fidelity and overall quality of the presentation for the final game. The collection used to run the demo The campaign has been running for a few weeks now, when various graphics and gaming systems are still being finalized and honed, and although some feedback has been expected and speaks to areas, other aspects of feedback have opened up new opportunities and considerations that the team takes very seriously. We don’t have clear answers or results yet, but where the team is working as fast as possible over plans to address some feedback on details, clarity, and overall fidelity. The team is committed and focused on having a great world for players to explore on startup. “
As for the multiplayer beta / flight, Yunisek reiterated what 343 champions Chris Lee said last week, saying that their plans for the beta version for many players were affected “largely by problems with working from home during COVID-19.”
343 is not sure that the beta version will end, but hopes to “have the opportunity for more practical opportunities before release.”

Microtransactions at Halo Infinite were confirmed back in 2018, but Yunishek assured fans that Halo Infinite “will not include boxes of real money.”
This should be a relief, especially considering the level of player setup that will be part of Halo Infinite. As Yunisek said, “If you liked the level of armor settings in Halo: Reach, you will be satisfied.”
There were many other small details in this Infinite Inquires publication, including the reduction of homicide barriers and the “Return to the Battlefield” zone as part of the Halo Infinite Open World Intelligence Promotion Campaign and confirmation that the BR75 Rifle will make a comeback. In addition, the new grab hook will go the way of multiplayer, but will function slightly differently and will be available as an item that can be picked up on the battlefield.
Halo Infinite will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in Holiday 2020. To learn more about the latest Halo game, be sure to read more about its villain and history, why Halo Infinite 2 will not be and why Halo Infinite will be the perfect jump to the point for new players.
