According to the police, a man entered the synagogue of Chabad in Povai and began to shoot. The police claim that "many injuries" with varying degrees of severity, reports KFMB. The authorities are confident that there was only one arrow.
The department of Sheriff Poway sent a tweet who reported that the shooting took place before Saturday at 11:30.
According to Chabad of Poway on Facebook, the synagogue held an Easter celebration scheduled for 11:00.
Several churches in the area were blocked, reports KFMB. Poway is just over 20 miles north of San Diego.
