Black Panther Star Chadwick Bozeman had no will when he died in August after a four-year battle with colon cancer, according to recent court records.
His wife, Taylor Simona Ledward, filed a petition Thursday for administrative letters to the Los Angeles County High Court.
Boseman had no children, but at the request of both his parents are alive. Under California law, when a person dies in such a situation, the spouse will inherit all of the community’s property and share the individual’s property with the parents.
The administration’s letters would give Ledward the authority to manage Bozeman’s estate, which is said to include personal property worth about $ 939,000.
