On Saturday, the “Carnival Sensation” came to the aid of a small ship that crashed in international waters 37 miles off the coast of Palm Beach, Florida, the report said.
Seeing the boat in the water, the Carnival Sensation maneuvered next to the ship and provided blankets, life jackets, food and water to 24 people on board, including people of different nationalities and two children.
When the boat began to take water, the Carnival Sensation crew rescued all 24 people and took them on board.
They were then evaluated by the Carnival Sensation medical team and quarantined by crew members.
Carnival said all relevant authorities, including the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), had been notified, and the USCG sent an incident to the scene to seize 24 people.
