Buccaneers trade future Jets draft pick for defensive fights by Steve McLendon, according to report

Steve McLendon made four fights for the Jets, losing to the Dolphins on Sunday 24-0. Tampa Bay Times. In addition to getting McLendon, the Bookcainers will receive a seventh round of Jets 2023 pilots in exchange for their sixth round of 2022 for Stroud.

In five seasons with the Jets, the 34-year-old McLendon has made 58 starts in 64 games. He recorded 154 selections, 28 selections for loss and five bags.

McLendon will move from a 0-6 Jets to the Buccaneers, which has improved to 4-2 after defeating Aaron Rogers and the previously undefeated Packers on Sunday, 38-10.
