Body found to be kidnapped by 2-year-old Noelani Robinson: police

A child's body wrapped in a blanket and found on the roadside in Minnesota is believed to have been Noelani Robinson, a 2-year-old girl for whom the Amber signal was issued on Monday and her father allegedly shot and killed her mother on the same day Milwaukee

The body was detected around 7pm. On the night of the night, the state social work department of an employee who drove home, police chief Milwaukee Alfonso Morales said during a press conference on Saturday morning.

"He called this response to the local police station … and immediately there was a blanket and wrapped around the child's body, and we believe that this is something that of Noelan," he said.

Noelani was allegedly kidnapped by her father on Monday, Daryaz Higgins, 34, after he allegedly shot and killed her mother, Sierra Robinson, on that day.

Robinson was found lying outside the apartment building, according to the police, who said that she had been shot several times and declared dead at the scene.

Morales said Saturday that an investigation into the death of a child, found 1

5 miles north of Austin, Minnesota, about 300 miles west of Milwaukee, will be conducted. First, however, there should be an autopsy.

"We can say that we believe that this death has not occurred within the last 24 hours," Morales said. "She was there for quite some time, which corresponds to the suspect's time when he was in this area in Minnesota."

Higgins was arrested by employees of the Milwaukee Police Department on Wednesday, reporters said. The second unnamed person was arrested with Higgins for "hiding and helping the fugitive," reports the police.

Morales said that the investigation would determine "where we will continue … the types of allegations we will seek."
