Columbus Blue Jackets bought goalkeeper Keith Kinkaida from New Jersey Devils in exchange for a round of 2022 NHL projects, today announced the general manager of the club, Jarmo Kekalainen.
Kinkaid, 29, has published 64-55-17 records with 2.90 average goals (GAA), .906 saves percentage (SV%) and seven lats in the 151-game Devils game since their debut in the NHL 2012-13. This season, he set up a card with a high distance in matches and past matches, and earned his career high in the games and started with a record of 15-18-6, 3.36 GAA, .891 SV% , three issues and 2302 minutes in 41 competitions (38 runs).
"Although we believe that the fire is the position of power for our club with Sergei Bobrovsky and we considered it important to add a depth of position," said Kekalainen. "Keith Kinkide is an experienced national hockey league that will provide this depth when we move through the last month of the regular season and in the spring."
The Frimingville Native, New York, Kinkaid set the card games maximums / started the wins and saves in 2016-17, to a record 26-10-3, 2.77 GAA, .913 SV%, one switch off , 1,108 retention and 2,298 minutes in 41 games (38 starts). In 2015-16, he recorded a card at a height of .916 SV% of record holders 8-13-3 and 2.64 GAA.

Netminder 6-3, 195 pounds played in 143 American hockey league tours, 52-3 record with 2.60 GAA, .908 SV% and 10 shutouts from Albany Devils since 2011 -15. Prior to signing a contract at an initial level from New Jersey on April 11, 2011, Kinkaid spent two seasons at Union College, where he was 37-18-6 with 2.18 GAA and four shutouts in 63 games from 2009-11. He was named the first All-American 2010-11 AHCA team and won the ECAC Goaltender the Year Award after placing 25-10-3, 1.99 GAA, .920 SV% and three bursts in 38 excursions.
Kinkaid represented the United States at the 2016 and 2018 FIFA World Cup. He was named one of the three leading Americans after bringing the country to the bronze medal in the 2018 tournament and placed 2.29 GAA and 912 SV% in nine games.
