Blizzard releases the first mysterious hint for Overwatch 2019 archives

Blizzard seems to have released the first hint for this year's event Archives 2019 on Sunday, April 7th, and it seems the Overwatch team was able to go to the Caribbean.

Archives is a seasonal event that gives players a PvE mission based on Overwatch knowledge, like the 2017 uprising and rebate in 2018.

On Sunday, Overwatch wrote a link to a fictional news story from Havana, Cuba, which may be a hint of the next new PvE regime. 19659004] Blizzard Entertainment

Can Cuba be the site of a new Overwatch card?

What does the newspaper say?

This story is related to the seven who were forced to sell their small distillation of rum to the "anonymous financial group" ̵

1; We do not name any names, but it seems that it says "Talon".

In addition to distillation, history also mentions the historic Sea Harbor of Havana, which is also bought by the same anonymous financial group and transformed into private property.

There is also a story about a hurricane that got to Cuba after the main feature on Don Rumbotico, so the archives' mission could have taken place during an insane storm.

Overwatch does not have a harbor map yet, so Blizzard could tease the whole new card for players as part of the event as well.

What does this all mean?

Stories certainly formulated the scene for more hints and revealed in the days that led to the beginning of the event, which, according to the origins, should begin on Tuesday, April 16.

We still have no idea what the map of Havana will be like; it mentions several places, for example, an alcohol factory and a sea fort that could point to King Hill's map, but if we look at previous events in the archives, they used longer hybrid / escort maps such as the Rialto and King line to make PvE [19659003] Cuba is an interesting choice, and it corresponds to the newest hero of Overwatch – Batista, which is from Haiti. Obviously, Cuba and Haiti are different countries, but both are located on the islands of the Caribbean.

New Overwatch cards are usually released approximately every four months between new heroes, but Blizzard seems to be able to provide Overwatch players. An additional card for celebrating this year's event Archives.
