All stores will remain open at least until the end of March, and most will remain open until May, a retailer said.

There are about three dozen stores across the metro area, including places in Kennesaw, Stone Mountain, Decatur and Marietta.
In April 2017, Payless is filed for bankruptcy protection in Chapter 11, closing over 1,000 stores across the country.
