The first pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro began to be sent to early customers. As usual, this doesn’t mean you should expect your iPhone 12 to arrive earlier than the October 23 release date.
If you check the status of your order on the Apple website, you will probably see that your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro is still “ready to ship”. However, if you go to the UPS website, you can track the progress of your order with a few simple steps.
To do this, either register on the UPS My Choice platform, or use the “Tracking by control number” function. The reference number is probably the phone number listed in your Apple order, or your order number without the last two digits. However, not all iPhones have been transferred to the UPS yet, however, don̵7;t forget to keep checking for a week.
As usual, Apple is updating the status of shipping new iPhone orders through its website by the end of the week, when we approach the official release date. Finally, keep in mind that the fact that orders are already being shipped does not mean that you should expect your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro to arrive earlier. Apple is working closely with UPS to ensure that shipments arrive no earlier than Friday, October 23, regardless of the estimated date on UPS.
On the other hand, as we reported in detail yesterday, the first accessories for the iPhone 12 began to arrive to buyers. This includes MagSafe cases, as well as the MagSafe charger itself. You can learn more about the new accessories in full here.
