You will remove many guns in the Hymn, but the most interesting part of the battle is to combine the special capabilities of flying caps with your teammates to perform a combo against bad guys. These combined attacks cause great damage and affect the enemies that can turn the battle, and each kind of dart gets its own benefits from a successful combo. The Ranger has increased power against one enemy, Kolos creates an area-of-effect explosion, the Storm can transmit the effects of the status to several enemies, and the interceptor receives an aura that hits an enemy.
The problem with the combo in Hymn is that the game is not very clear how they work. We have a complete combo kit that will help you make the most of your darts, but for a better understanding of how to perform a combo, you just need to know about two things: primers and detonators. Primers are the abilities that create combo; Detonators are the abilities that trigger them for mass destruction and other consequences.
The big question is how do you know if the ability is a primer, a detonator or not? The anthem provides this information to you when you decide which device will be added to your bootloader if you know where to look. Sometimes you will see an icon next to the name of the gear part ̵
The primers are marked with a circle icon
The detonators have icons next to them that resemble the throwing stars, similar to the explosion.
When you use the soil in the field, you will know that the enemy is ready for the combo when the red icon next to the nameplate is located. The badge will also tell you about what the enemy will affect my soil through, like freezing or burning. Using Detonator to enemies with these icons will initiate a combo
This is not a hard and fast rule, but you'll usually tend to try to bring Primer and Detonator's ability with you on each mission. So, you can configure the combo for your teammates, complete the combo they created, and even "self combo," where you use the detonators on your own primers. Combo is something that makes the hymn fun, and especially at later levels and more complex difficulties, so they are important, so make sure you choose the right equipment for your booty to make the most of them.
