Two days after the launch, which caused a shock when the FIL token Filecoin made a 118% to almost 80% drop, the blockchain-based storage platform turns into a week-long digital conference, hoping to fix the ship.
Scheduled Filecoin Release Week, the event focuses on education, infrastructure, compatibility and future project plans. Starting from October 19, 2020, the five days of programming have a different theme every day, such as “Build” and “Future”.
Speakers include ConsenSys founder Joe Lubin, who will participate in a fireplace chat on “Filecoin and Ethereum Connections,” and Internet Archive founder Brewster Cale, who will discuss the “importance of data preservation.”; Other speakers include Aave CEO Stani Kulekhov, Codefi Product Code Page CEO and Polychain Capital founder Olaf Carlson-Wee.
Mine Day on October 20 will be a special highlight for future miners. The programming will focus on Filecoin mining negotiations, seminars and panel discussions. The Filecoin mining system offers greater rewards to miners who provide a storage network; independent miner Benjamin Hosjbo will also provide a tutorial.
Community members are also invited to submit their own “events and celebrations”, which will be added to the official programming. Attendees can view the full programming here.
The event occurs when the FIL asset seeks to find a bottom after reaching a high of $ 208 on October 15. It is currently trading at $ 42.52.
Despite the dramatic consequences, the Filecoin team remains optimistic about the future prospects of the project.
“This is just the beginning for the Filecoin network,” the ad blog post said.
